We are old now and afraid of losing our byrd-like teen spirit. So the telefax tape is an ode to the technical devices of our youth and childhood. We talk about walkmans, VHS-videoplayers, gameboys and other 8bit-consoles. For us the aesthetics and sounds of an old telefax machine bundles and represents this technical era perfectly (aside from that it's simply a killer word).
We tried to use and recreate the sound of a 4-track tape recorder paired with the raw power of punk to forget our daily routine at our shitty work and the responsibility as an adult.
We love the past, the present and the future drifting in a spaceship through the stratosphere
